Dmytro Zarakhovych, the founder and managing partner of UAPAY, took part in a panel discussion: “Cooperation of insurance companies and the financial sector”.
The panel discussion took place as part of the main online event of the year in the field of insurance innovation – UAINSUR.TECH DAY. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Fintech Association.
“UAPAY recently acted as a payment partner for the Electronic Driver’s Office, in their new product of choosing and purchasing an insurance policy from an insurance company. We ensured the receipt of payments and payment directly with the insurance company, entered into agreements for the receipt of payments with insurance companies participating in the project, registered and configured and synchronized with the developers of the driver’s office, – said Dmitry.
From now on, any car owner has the opportunity to choose and purchase a CTP insurance policy directly from their driver’s office. This is a clear example of insurance digitalization in Ukraine. As for the impact of the pandemic on insurance, in my opinion, those insurers who are changing customer habits are currently winning. According to experts, in 2021 almost the entire industry will switch to insurtech”.
