In 2024, the city of Ternopil presented the “e-Ternopil” application, which combined key services for residents on a smartphone.
Today, the community has over 100,000 active users of the application. The UAPAY company was responsible for implementing the payment part. We worked with the IT team of the city council to ensure that the user experience was clear, convenient and transparent for every resident of the community. Everything, from the design of payment modules to data processing, was developed taking into account real usage scenarios.
The mobile application was fully operational in September 2024. It combines dozens of functions:
– Payment for utilities with the transfer of indicators (over 80,000 per month),
– Real-time public transport tracking,
– Online replenishment of the “Fina Karta” travel card,
– Traffic fines – payment without queues,
– Notifications about changes in the city and the ability to leave an appeal,
– Resident surveys – from the color of buses to choosing development priorities,
– Business services – convenient interaction for sole proprietors and companies,
– And soon – doctor’s appointments, electronic queues for kindergartens and clubs.
UAPAY became a technical partner for the implementation of the payment part in “e-Ternopil”. The company helped create a service that is not only convenient, but also adaptive – that is, one that develops along with the needs of residents.
Every month, the application records over a million transactions, and the number of utility payments has increased by 15% per year. The application plans include integration with eHealth, electronic appointments with a doctor, kindergartens, and community clubs.
