Calling from the bank’s security service? Be careful!

Fraudsters call, pretend to be bank security and/or police officers, and ask for confidential payment card information.

In such conversations, fraudsters can:
🔹to assure that third parties have gained access to their accounts and that the owners of the funds are planning to do so;
🔹report a cyber attack on the bank’s IT system.

To save money, we offer:
🔸withdraw cash yourself and hand it over to the “courier” from the bank, after which they promise to credit the funds to a “secure account”;
🔸transfer money to a temporary safe account, which is actually the fraudster’s account;
🔸”bind” the phone number to another phone number.

❗️Remember, a fraudster can be called anyone!
If a bank employee calls, say that you are now calling the official bank number indicated on the back of the payment card.

More information about payment security rules is available on the website #ShakhrayGoodbay: https://promo.bank.gov.ua/stopfraud/.
